Research

The International Wellbeing-through-writing Institute is available for research contracts and partnerships.

We are particularly interested in community-based research opportunities that use innovative, salutogenic (strengths-focused) research design to produce research of value to communities and policy makers.

Our focus is research that develops capabilities for trust in/for self, others, and living in the world.

We are available to work in rural and remote areas. We are experienced in working with people and communities in recovery from natural disaster, including flood, fire, and drought. We have worked with the lonely, the isolated, and dispossessed. We have worked with Indigenous communities, including newly literate Indigenous adults.

For more information, contact IWWI senior researcher, Dr Stephanie Dale: info@iwwi.com.au

CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECT: What are the experiences of ageing women with adult children in modern westernised nuclear families?

To discuss partnering with us on this project, or to register your participation in this research, contact IWWI senior researcher Dr Stephanie Dale by email or phone +64 29 222 0244 or +61 422 138 103.

The International Wellbeing-through-writing Institute is currently developing research projects pertaining to the great social challenges of westernised economies: loneliness, longing, isolation, connection, belonging, engagement.
