Client Reviews

★★★★★

“Stephanie Dale’s charismatic warmth inspires and uplifts. Her femininity camouflages her strength – but only at first. She is a lead lemming: compelling, engaging and captivating.”

Patt Gregory, Woodwork for Women

★★★★★

“Stephanie Dale is a ‘mistress class’ in facilitation. Her skills are phenomenal, equal to anyone I’ve ever worked with & I’ve worked with the best.”

Sue Spencer, UK

★★★★★

“It was worth coming all this way – 2000 kms – just to hear Stephanie speak.”

Jenny Blake, attendee, National Rural Health Conference

A passion for pilgrimage

In 2005, Stephanie and her son Ben walked the Camino, the iconic 900km pilgrim trail across Spain’s northern interior. In 2007, Stephanie joined Ben for the middle leg of his 7000km pilgrimage from Canterbury to Jerusalem. Together they walked 1500kms across Italy and through the Balkans. These were pre-smart phone days – often they navigated by walking east to the rising sun – literally, making their beds wherever they found themselves at day’s end … fields, forests, beaches.

In 2019, Stephanie and her grandson Dylan walked the Camino Francis, 900kms across Spain’s northern interior from St Jean Pied du Port to Finis Terre. (And yes, correct, her trusty pilgrim clothing hasn’t changed.)

Walk&Write

In 2017, Stephanie merged her passions for walking, writing and pilgrimage, launching the inaugural Walk & Write Camino, in partnership with UTracks. The project was mothballed due to the onset of Covid-19. Walk & Write is now available for groups on request.
